    I am pleased to confirm that IRO AB reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations
    Global Compact in the areas of human rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • During the year, our ethics policy has been updated and translated into english. Text in policy as follows:

    IRO AB must do business in accordance with current laws and rules.

    IRO’s view on humanity involves respect for every individual’s integrity and equal value.

    All workers must be treated equally and with respect, regardless of sex, potential disabilities, age, religion, ethnicity and sexuality.

    Working conditions must, as far as possible, be suited for both men and women, in both the physical and the psychological work environment.

    IRO AB must act to ensure that women and men will have the same opportunities to combine their work and family lives.


    Corporate social responsibility
    IRO AB must actively work on improvements to prevent and limit the business’s influence on both people and environment.
    All workers are jointly responsible for the environmental work.

    Business relations
    IRO’s business activity must be distinguished by good ethics, honesty, credibility and long-term goals.

    Employees must act with respect, consideration, commitment and integrity toward clients, business partners and co-workers.

    IRO AB must have sound and ethical methods in the business.

    IRO AB must satisfy customer needs with proper conduct and competence.

    Business transactions must be entered in the books correctly, in accordance with the company’s accounting principles.

Environment

  • During 2015, we have had as a company goal to reduce our environmental footprint.
    Target was sed to reduce our Co2 emissions due to air freight by at least 50%.

    Result for the year was a reduction with 76,9%.

  • We have implemented environmental policies that we discuss with all emplyees once a year. Furthermore, we are certified according to ISO 14001 and set targets for our environmental work.

    This year, our main target was to reduce Co2 Emissions due to air freight, and target was achieved. see description above.

  • We monitor all environmental aspects the we have identified according to the laws and regulations in sweden.
    During the year we have had external audits for our ISO 14001 certification with good outcome.
