In this first annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions on how we have integrated the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We are also committed to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

With the recognition that we live in a faster paced evolving globe where Kenya is no exception, we initiated our sustainability journey with our value system and a principled approach in the way we conduct our business. The banana value chain in Kisii and Nyamira is a key agricultural sub sector as it provides the staple food for the people of the region, and as such, focusing on sustainable agriculture to provide the critical guidance required on a daily basis is key to inevitably stimulate business growth in the region. By incorporating the UN global compact principles into our strategies, policies and procedures, we establish a culture of integrity for long-term success. We further promise to contribute to the work of global compact when we shall be stable financially.
