    I am pleased to confirm that Pajat Solutions reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • We support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in all our activities.

  • Implementation

  • Human right issue awareness and their importance is fully integrated within Pajat Solutions management practices. We always ensure that our operations are consistent with the legal principles applicable in the country of operation.

  • Pajat Solutions trusts in good internal communication to ensure the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is respected in the whole company. There has never been an internal or external report on Human Rights violation that concerns Pajat Solutions.

Labour

  • Pajat Solutions do not allow child labour or forced, compulsory labour. We do not practice discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. We support the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

  • We always ensure that employees in Pajat Solutions has a work permit and a work contract with the legal principles applicable in the country of operation. Following the industry average wages and open discussion with employees ensures comparable pay for comparable work in every country of operation. Safety and health of all employees is ensured by operating according the legal principles applicable in the country of operation.

  • We have workers from both genders and ethnic origins from Asia, Africa and Europe. We trust in good internal communication to ensure that Global Compact Labour principles are respected in the whole company. There has never been an internal or external report related to abuse of any Labour principles.

Environment

  • Pajat Solutions is committed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, the minimum environmental standards with our activities lie with the legal principles applicable in the country of operation. Our main products one main task is to help in environmental monitoring programs that will help to prevent environmental risks.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement environmental policies, address environmental risks and respond to environmental incidents.

  • Pajat Solutions believe and promote our products to help companies to be more environmentally friendly. Our products can be used to monitor forest areas and other environmental areas with a goal for the customers to be more environmentally efficient. Recycling and the minimum possible consumption of resources such as paper are company policies.

  • All plastic and paper material is recycled in Pajat Solutions main office. We follow all travel and resource costs and try to keep them as low as possible for environmental and financial reasons.

Anti-Corruption

  • As a small company from Finland where corruption levels are low our policy is to have zero tolerance with corruption and bribery. Pajat Solution operates with the same standards in Asia, Africa and South- America. Pajat Solutions supports the UN Convention Against Corruption.
