    I am pleased to confirm that MGS Logistics reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

    MGS Logistics evaluates and responds to human rights issues within its business operations on a regular basis

    MGS Logistics has implemented in 2014 a Code of Conduct complying that sets down principles and values to which the Group commits at a national and international level. This Code of Conduct is intended to provide standards of professional conduct within the Group and to facilitate their implementation by establishing rules in key areas.

  • MGS Logistics has included a reference to UN Global Compact principles into its website, signature blocks and presented this initiative to its contacts and partners. One company has followed MGS Logistics initiative and become also a member of UN Global Compact.

  • Each new employee of the company receives a briefing about UN Global Compact principles. So 100% of new hired personnel in 2014 have been informed about the initiative.

Labour

    MGS supports its employees safety, health, and wellbeing, and provide programs to help them balance work and personal commitments.

    Each employee benefit from an integration program. MGS Logistics has implemented a Quality System in 2014 that includes Management of Human resources and their integration. This Quality System can be provided upon a separate request.

  • The environmental management is part of MGS Logistics daily practice. We are committed to furthering the UN global Compact in the area of Environmental Protection.
    MGS Logistics is implementing the aforementioned policies by working with employee as well as investing in new energy-saving technology and recycling programs.

    In employee integration plan, employees are given education about what to do should they encounter an issue within the company that deal with corruption
