Decent Work in Global Supply Chains

Decent Work in Global Supply Chains

Decent Work in Global Supply Chains will provide a forum for open dialogue and a launching pad for action to address one of the most urgent challenges facing companies, workers and their communities. Through the facilitation of continuous learning and collaboration at the global and local level, the platform aims to help build a human-rights based approach to the 2030 Agenda and develop thought leadership on the role of business in promoting decent work in global supply chains. It will focus on areas that are deeply connected to the international agenda including forced labour and modern slavery, and the root causes of decent work deficits beyond the workplace. The platform will also aim to unearth, share and disseminate cross-cutting innovations for empowerment of both workers, and the companies that are seeking to drive change.
