The Global Compact XII Annual Local Network Forum (ALNF) and UN System Private Sector Focal Points Meeting (PSFP), Africa: Advancing Partnerships and Responsible Business Leadership, will provide a forum for business, Global Compact Local Networks, UN organizations and other stakeholders to share lessons learned and explore effective ways to engage in activities and partnerships that advance sustainable development priorities with a special focus on Africa.
The UN Global Compact Office will provide assistance in facilitating interview requests. Bilateral interview spaces will also be provided for journalists willing to meet privately with event participants.

Unless otherwise noted, all plenary sessions of the ALNF-PSFP Meeting on 10, 11 and 12 June at UNECA Headquarters (Menelik II Avenue, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) will be open to media. In addition, special events including the Africa Private Sector Dinner, Great Lakes Private Sector Responsible Investment Roundtable and Ethiopian CEO Roundtable are open to media.

Deadline for Media Registration: Tuesday, 3 June 2014
All media personnel must register for the event by emailing the UN Global Compact Office at email@example.com with your name, role and media organization. Please indicate if you will attend the Africa Private Sector Dinner on 10 June and any broadcasting equipment you will bring.
For those journalists outside of Ethiopia who wish to attend, please register early and inquire for official media accreditation information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eligibility for Media: Media accreditation is strictly reserved for members of the press (print, photo, radio, TV, film, news agencies and online media) who represent a bona fide media organization. No double accreditation is allowed (e.g. as press and delegate, or as press and NGO). Media accreditation is not accorded to the information outlets of non-governmental organizations.
