Local Network Activities

Recognizing that local ownership and knowledge are vital to driving change, Business for Peace has adopted a locally-driven approach with Global Compact Local Networks playing a central role. B4P will work to develop the capacity of Local Networks to support participants in their efforts to conduct responsible business practices and advance peace, in collaboration with other local stakeholders.

Participating Local Networks

B4P is the first Global Compact platform that Local Networks can join through a public commitment, alongside individual companies. Participating Local Networks include: Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom and Ukraine.
