During its last Convention in March 2007, Saint-Gobains Building Distribution Sector formalized its global environmental policy, and more particularly its environmental policy applied to timber. The aim is to coordinate and energize all existing policies inside the Business Units. This timber environmental policy defines the moral and responsible conduct requirements within Business Units relating to the buying and selling of timber, and fixes a set of common operating rules.
