As a part of "International Corporate Philanthropy Day" a roster of foundations (corporate and non-corporate), private sector companies and civil society representatives that have a particular interest in the areas of gender empowerment and women’s equality will gather. Supported by the Global Compact the event will be hosted by ECOSOC and organized by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP) in collaboration with the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) and the United Nations Fund for Women (UNIFEM). |

Finally, the HRWG will seek input on the research currently underway by the Global Compact Netherlands Network and several multinational companies to compare business practices in conducting human rights due diligence to the SRSG's recommended approach.
