Global Compact Launches Redesigned Website

( New York, 14 April 2009 ) – The United Nations Global Compact today unveiled the new design of its website www.unglobalcompact.org. The redesign, created by MW Design Interactive, and funded by the Foundation for the Global Compact, completes the adaptation of the Global Compact's communications infrastructure to the new visual identity first introduced at the 2007 Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva.

"The new web design greatly enhances the Global Compact's brand and ensures the visual coherence of our online and offline communications channels", said Georg Kell, Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact.

Key features of the new design include consistent color-coding of all Global Compact issue areas, as well as stronger use of visual imagery.
