(New York, 28 April 2008) – The UN Global Compact presents Issue 1, 2008 of the "Compact Quarterly", a publication featuring articles, interviews and news on corporate responsibility.
Published in the context of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, this "Compact Quarterly" spotlights the issue of human rights and business: Where does the agenda stand today? What will expectations be in the future? What are companies doing to safeguard human rights within their organizations? Articles include:
