- The Global
Compact Local Network in Singapore made a major move forward when more than 40
Singapore based companies signed up for the initiative during a public signing ceremony. New
participants include major Singapore companies such as the MediaCorp, largest
media company in Singapore and the region, SingTel, largest multi-market mobile

tripartite structure and a commitment to high level performance standards,
the network is uniquely positioned to advance the initiative.
The signing
ceremony took place in the context of the joint UN Environment Programme and Global
