World's Largest Student Organization to Support Global Compact

The Global Compact announced on 16 May that it has entered into a cooperative arrangement with AIESEC International, the world’s largest student organization with a global network of 50,000 members in more than 83 countries.
Among its many activities, AIESEC coordinates an international exchange
programme for student trainees with corporations.
Under
the cooperative framework, the Global Compact and AIESEC will pursue a number of
objectives, including:
- Educating students and recent graduates in the field of corporate citizenship
- Promoting current issues of concern to the Global Compact to students in member countries
The AIESEC is the latest non-government organization to announce its support of the Global Compact.
