The Global Compact was launched in Kosovo on 17th December 2008 by UNDP Kosovo and the UN Global Compact Office. UNDP Kosovo has taken the lead to establish the Global Compact Network in Kosovo in partnership with business, government, civil society and other international actors. The formal governance structure of the Network is expected to be formed by mid-2009.
