Thailand

The Global Compact was launched in Thailand during the ILO's Regional Employers' meeting held in Bangkok from 27-28 November 2001 with support from other core UN agencies UNDP, OHCHR and UNEP. Thereafter the momentum has been maintained by UNDP with support from OHCHR's Regional Office in Bangkok. The current focal point for Global Compact network operations in Thailand is the Employers Confederation of Thailand.
