The launch of the Global Compact Local Network Nigeria took place in 2007 in the capital Abuja,
and was the result of collaboration between the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), the African
Leadership Forum (ALF), the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).
