The Global Compact Network in Bolivia was launched on November 14th, 2006 by the Bolivian Foundation of Corporate Social Responsibility (COBORSE).
During the first General Assembly of the Network on November 13th, 2008 a Steering Committee was established and following participants were appointed: Banco de Crédito de Bolivia, Transierra, Gas TransBoliviano, Transportadora de Electricidad and Grupo Empresarial Kantutani.
The objective of the Global Compact Local Network Bolivia and COBORSE is to develop and promote the practice of CSR in order to build a more sustainable and just society, based on responsible management, the adoption of the United Nations Global Compact principles, and the practice of responsible citizenship among companies that operate in Bolivia
