The Global Compact in Australia

Australian companies participating in the UN Global Compact include organizations headquartered in Australia (listed below) as well as Australian subsidiaries of companies headquartered overseas. A formal network does not yet exist within Australia, thus there is the opportunity for participants to establish one.

A number of outreach events have taken place since the Global Compact’s inception. Most recently, was the event "Raising the Bar: Leading Sustainable Business in 2008" held on 20 February 2008 in Sydney hosted by the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility and Westpac, in cooperation with the UN Global Compact.
