Regional Meeting for Global Compact Local Networks in Latin America and the Caribbean
3rd - 4th November 2009 - Santiago, Chile
The Global Compact convened the fourth Regional Meeting for Global Compact
Network Focal Points and Representaives in Latin America and the Caribbean on 3 - 4 November 2009
in Santiago, Chile. The meeting brought together representatives from 11 Local Networks
and provided a platform for information exchange and sharing of experiences related to Network
management and activities. Local Networks also agreed on key objectives for 2010.
The regional meeting, which took place at the ILO office in Chile, was organized
by the Global Compact Local Network Chile with the support of the Regional Support Center for Latin
America and the Caribbean and the UN Global Compact Office.
