The Annual Local Network Forum (ALNF) is the main occasion for Local Networks from around the world to share experiences, review and compare progress, identify best practices, and adopt recommendations intended to enhance the effectiveness of Local Networks.
Since 2003, an annual meeting of Local Networks has been convened to bring Local Network representatives and company representatives together to share experiences, learn from each other and network.
In 2011, the ALNF will convene in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 18th and the 19th of May and is expected to be attended by 3-400 participants from local networks and champion businesses. This promises to be the largest ALNF to be held so far by the Global Compact, and there has already been great interest expressed by the various work streams and working groups to also convene working sessions in conjunction with the event (during the week of May 16th).
