A milestone in coming to grips with the evolution of Global Compact Networks occurred in London on 4-5 November 2004 at the II Annual Local Networks Forum. The meeting was hosted by the UK Government and the Global Compact UK Forum in Lancaster House. In addition to featuring a constructive exchange of experiences and practices, the London meeting laid the foundation for better understanding the role of Local Networks in the future governance of the Global Compact.
