Description
  • Danisco communicates its progress on the implementation of the principles of the Global Compact through its Sustainability Report 2003. In producing the Sustainability Report, we have attempted to follow international assurance standards and guidelines. Danisco has also strived to improve its policies on sustainable development issues. "Our approach to sustainability has been based on a commitment to four focal areas: SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality), Product Safety, Environmental Ethics, and Social Issues and Business Integrity." Further details on our progress in this area are available in the Sustainability Report 2003 (PDF file), page 8, accessible from our website: http://www.danisco.com/sustainability/sus_report.asp. In addition, an interactive on-line version of the report is also available on our website

    -------------

We have invested in the policy improvement of the four key areas mentioned above because Danisco acknowledges that we have a responsibility towards environmental and social issues. Further details can be found in the Sustainability Report 2003 available on our website.
