  • Danisco communicates its progress on the implementation of the principles of the Global Compact through its Sustainability Report 2003. In producing the Sustainability Report, we have attempted to follow international assurance standards and guidelines. Danisco has also strived to improve its policies on sustainable development issues. "Our approach to sustainability has been based on a commitment to four focal areas: SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality), Product Safety, Environmental Ethics, and Social Issues and Business Integrity."   • Principle 6 - Eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation
  • Principle 7 - Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges
  • Principle 8 - Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility
  • Principle 9 - Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies
