COP Workshops

To find effective ways of promoting accountability and transparency as well as to exchange reporting practices of its participants, the Global Compact Office has been organizing COP workshops on a regular basis. These stakeholder consultations have been instrumental in improving and strengthening the current Communication on Progress framework. This section contains reports, presentations, and other useful information from past COP workshops

The next COP workshop for practitioners will be held during the Annual Local Network Forum in Istanbul/Turkey on 10 June 2009. The workshop will focus on latest guidance material that has been developed by the Global Compact Office and partner organizations. Participants have the opportunity to get first hand information on the issue specific guidance (mainly on human rights and anti-corruption), to learn from reporting experiences of peer companies, and to discuss the usefulness of the guidance material for corporate reporting.
